As the darkness grows around us we will shine as a light to this dying world. Pray many come to salvation, I see so much need in the people around me. But isn’t the story of the Israelites that the majority did not obey Gods commands but continually turned back to paganism? And for that they were exiled to Babylon for 70 years. But God was merciful and brought them back again. Then when Christ came, He brought a new message of salvation for all who would believe on Him. Which the Israelites rejected for the most part. The gospel message then went out to the wider world through the apostles and later through faithful men like Patrick who brought the good news to Ireland. The truth was preserved through the dark ages by faithful monks but in recent past has been corrupted. We need to return to the truth of the gospel as taught by Patrick.
