I watch rip every night and it's still absolutely shocking the amount of died suddenly and I don't even have to look at the obituary just how young they are to know 💔 😔 😪 so much sickness around, cancer and deaths but still so many incl my parents and sister and ALL Her 6 kids and grandkids asleep to it ! Did you see the Ladapo report? Unbelievable! Also I don't think there's a flu season it's just flu shot season killing the elderly for years ! Anyway I pray every night that the truth will finally be accepted 🙏

Thank you Collette. Yes I agree, it’s a ‘flu shot season’ and it decimates the elderly population every year. My mother used to swear by it, get an awful dose and still go back for more. Thank God she has copped on. There’s nothing much more can be done to wake people up but pray they will be okay.

This is an important document that will one day be referred back to, and the very reason as to why RIP.ie is being monetized, so that the numbers become distorted as not every family will be able to afford the fee. Thank you for your hard work on this Patrick

Thanks Tracy. You would not believe the amount of areas where raw data basis periods etc have been manipulated by GRO, CSO, Coroners reports to prevent comparison between pre and post pandemic data. Deliberate muddying of the waters which I must get around to detailing.

McGregor did not write that piece....he put his name to it but he didn't write it.....I occasionally go on a rampage lookin at all the way too young people dying....it is just NOT NORMAL....never have so many young healthy people died aged 30-50....this is what I see....defo collusion in The Irish Times charging €100 for official RIP.ie death notices....there is a free(I assume -cos a recent death was posted on it of someone I KNOW has very little money) RIPie on Facebook....so maybe cross reference this with the official RIP.ie figures.....because people always post somewhere so people can attend a ceremony....

Like the Irish GENOCIDE FAMINE 1845-1848, engineered by the British Aristocracy objectives are accomplished with a much more efficient and cleaner bioweapon and bioweapon "cure"/vax and deadly social control policies.

Well said.

On the 'fair deal' scheme, show me the incentive and I'll show you the outcome. It greased the wheels for a mass murder program, conceptualises a long way out by people who knew what was coming.

Thanks Michael. I was only vaguely aware of the scheme until I researched it for the article. It’s a roadmap for euthanasia and the vax rates in the different centres highlight something dodgy is going on. The same healthcare workers who won’t take the jab will gladly dole it out. Nazi Germany would be in the ha’penny place compared to this organised slaughter.

Each of us precious human beings has been brutalised by the destruction of psychopaths in the past 5 years but in reality this culture of death was planned for a long time!

Once a nation murders its unborn it simply loses all consciousness of evil seeking to destroy us.

The complete collapse in leadership in every area - political, media, Religious, education, judicial, legal- is simply staggering🤮

Now the coverup is ramped up with open borders & massive inflation to keep us distracted and fearful🤮

But your work Patrick will stand the test of time and your superb analysis continues to inspire us all to fight for our eternal souls because this is extreme evil seeking to wipe us out or control every aspect of our lives🙏

God wins but we each must do our bit in this war🙏

Covid spikes during the "pandemic".

Has there been an increase in all cause mortality in Northern ireland since 2020

To determine whether spikes in all-cause mortality in Northern Ireland since 2020 coincided with midazolam use in care settings, we need to examine the timing of mortality spikes, midazolam prescribing patterns, and their potential correlation, particularly in care homes. Below is a detailed analysis based on available data and the provided search results, with a critical perspective on the evidence.

Timeline of Mortality Spikes

2020:

March–June 2020: Significant excess mortality occurred during the first COVID-19 wave, with a peak in April 2020. NISRA data confirms elevated deaths, particularly in care homes, where deaths were disproportionately high compared to the general population. For example, UK-wide data suggests care home deaths in April 2020 were about 60 times the national average mortality rate.

Autumn–Winter 2020: A second wave led to another spike in deaths, peaking around November–December 2020, with excess winter mortality for 2020/21 reported at 1,120 deaths in Northern Ireland.

2021:

January–March 2021: A smaller mortality spike occurred during the third COVID-19 wave, before widespread vaccine coverage. Excess deaths were lower than in 2020.

Post-April 2021: Excess mortality decreased significantly, with the 2021/22 winter showing only 250 excess deaths, the lowest since 1980/81.

2022–2024:

Excess deaths persisted at lower levels, with some months showing above-average mortality. Unverified X posts (e.g., @paulfrewDUP

) claim 720–902 excess deaths in 2024, but these lack detailed cause-of-death data or official confirmation.

Midazolam Use in Care Settings

Midazolam Overview: Midazolam is a benzodiazepine used in palliative care to manage symptoms like anxiety, agitation, or breathlessness in dying patients, including those with COVID-19. It is not licensed for treating respiratory illnesses and can cause respiratory depression if misused.

Prescribing Patterns:

April 2020: UK-wide data (including Northern Ireland) shows a significant spike in out-of-hospital midazolam prescriptions, doubling from an average of ~15,000 monthly prescriptions (2015–2019) to 38,582 in England alone. A Freedom of Information response indicates UK midazolam prescriptions rose by 80.91% in April 2020 compared to the previous 33-month average (188,957 to 341,852). This increase was largely for care homes and community settings.

2020–2021: Prescriptions remained above average for the rest of 2020, with a smaller spike in January 2021, aligning with the third COVID-19 wave.

Post-2021: Data on midazolam use in Northern Ireland specifically is scarce, but UK-wide prescribing trends suggest a return to lower levels after 2021, though still above pre-pandemic baselines in some periods.

Care Home Context: The spike in midazolam use coincided with increased care home deaths, particularly in April 2020. UK care homes saw ~28,000 deaths in April 2020, representing 33.5% of England’s total deaths, despite care home residents being a small fraction of the population. NICE guidance (NG163, April 2020) recommended midazolam for managing breathlessness and agitation in COVID-19 end-of-life care, potentially contributing to its increased use.

Correlation Between Mortality Spikes and Midazolam Use

April 2020:

Evidence of Coincidence: The doubling of midazolam prescriptions in April 2020 aligns closely with the peak in care home deaths across the UK, including Northern Ireland. A study by Wilson Sy (2024) claims a 91% correlation between midazolam injections and excess deaths in England during 2020, with a one-month lag (midazolam use preceding deaths). X posts (e.g., @CartlandDavid

, @FreeWomanLeahy

) highlight this correlation, noting a 17,850 increase in UK care home deaths above the 5-year average in April 2020.

Context: This spike occurred during the first COVID-19 wave, when care homes faced high infection rates, hospital discharges of untested patients, and limited PPE. Midazolam was likely used to manage severe symptoms in dying COVID-19 patients, as per NICE guidance.

November–December 2020 and January 2021:

Partial Coincidence: Elevated midazolam prescriptions continued through 2020, with a smaller peak in January 2021, aligning with the second and third COVID-19 waves. Excess mortality in Northern Ireland was notable in winter 2020/21, particularly in care settings. However, specific data linking midazolam use to these later spikes in Northern Ireland is less clear.

Context: By late 2020, testing and infection control improved, but care homes still faced challenges. Midazolam use likely remained high for palliative care, though less dramatically than in April 2020.

Post-2021:

Limited Evidence: After 2021, excess mortality decreased significantly, and midazolam prescribing data for Northern Ireland is not well-documented. The Wilson Sy study suggests ongoing correlation with midazolam use in England through 2023, but this is not specific to Northern Ireland and lacks peer-reviewed validation. Claims of midazolam-driven excess deaths in 2022–2024 (e.g., X posts) are inconclusive without detailed prescribing or cause-of-death data.

Critical Analysis

Supporting Claims:

The temporal alignment of midazolam prescription spikes (especially April 2020) with care home mortality peaks suggests a potential correlation. The Wilson Sy study argues midazolam, not COVID-19, drove excess deaths, citing a high statistical correlation and alleging systemic euthanasia.

X posts and anecdotal claims (e.g., @FreeWomanLeahy

) report families finding medical records indicating lethal midazolam doses, raising concerns about misuse.

Historical concerns about end-of-life protocols (e.g., Liverpool Care Pathway) and blanket “Do Not Resuscitate” orders in 2020 fuel skepticism about midazolam’s role.

Counterarguments:

Palliative Care Context: The Association for Palliative Medicine and experts like Dr. Amy Proffitt argue midazolam’s increased use was expected due to its role in managing severe COVID-19 symptoms (e.g., breathlessness, agitation) in dying patients. When used appropriately, midazolam does not hasten death but provides comfort.

COVID-19 as Primary Driver: Official data attributes most excess deaths in 2020 to COVID-19, with 29,377 UK deaths listing COVID-19 on death certificates in April 2020.

Data Limitations: Death certificates do not record prescribed medications, making it impossible to directly link midazolam to specific deaths. The Wilson Sy study, while provocative, is a preprint, not peer-reviewed, and its conclusions are contested. Northern Ireland-specific midazolam data is sparse, relying on UK-wide trends.

Northern Ireland-Specific Considerations

Data Gaps: NISRA provides robust mortality data but lacks specific breakdowns of midazolam use in Northern Ireland care homes. UK-wide prescribing trends (e.g., April 2020 spike) are assumed to apply, but local variations are unclear.

Care Home Deaths:

Policy Context: NICE guidance NG163, implemented in April 2020, likely increased midazolam use in Northern Ireland care homes, as seen in Scotland. Allegations of euthanasia via midazolam (e.g., X posts) mirror UK-wide concerns but lack verified Northern Ireland evidence.

Conclusion

The spikes in all-cause mortality in Northern Ireland, particularly in April 2020, coincided with a UK-wide doubling of midazolam prescriptions, heavily used in care settings for palliative care during the first COVID-19 wave. A strong temporal correlation exists, especially in April 2020, supported by UK data showing 38,582 out-of-hospital prescriptions and a 60-fold care home mortality rate increase. Smaller mortality spikes in late 2020 and early 2021 also align with elevated midazolam use.

Critical Perspective: While midazolam’s role in palliative care is standard, the unprecedented prescribing spike and care home mortality surge warrant scrutiny. The lack of transparent, Northern Ireland-specific data on midazolam use and cause-of-death breakdowns fuels suspicion. Official narratives dismissing misuse may overlook isolated cases of inappropriate dosing, as suggested by whistleblowers. Further investigation into prescribing practices and care home protocols is needed to clarify midazolam’s impact.
